Vadu mango season starts from early February and ends on last week of March. The peak of the season is around early March.
Vadu Mangoes are good to control indigestion and constipation. It is an in house therapy for early morning sickness. Having vadu mango pickle as a side dish with curd rice is a heavenly taste.
Gundu Vadu mangoes are available only in very limited quantities during the season. However, Kilimooku Vadu mangoes are consistently available during February and March, making them a great alternative for pickling.
